Design & diversity

I am a designer with a background in visual design and business. My academic education taught me the importance of research and analysis, and the importance of diversity. This can be applied to design too, it should be inclusive and accessible for all, but created with a critical mindset.

UX love

I always loved to create and craft things. When I started learning design management in Denmark, we learned to use some design tools and I was drawn into graphic design. I was also interested in human interactions at the workplace, so I started studying human resources.

Whereas I really enjoyed learning about business and people’s role in it, I missed the creativity and freedom of trial & error that is present in the design scene. So I would like to continue my journey with UX design and learn about user interactions and how to create products and services for them.

Background

I have been working as a graphic designer before, here are some of my visual works. While it was amazing while it lasted, I would love to move towards UX now.

I find humans really interesting, and I feel like helping create products and services for them is more suitable for me than helping management to get the maximum out of their workforce.

Teamwork

I always played team sports, particularly basketball for the past 10 years, and it is so much more fun than doing something alone. I feel the same about working in groups, it is always good to have someone around who can comment or help you out.

Skills & knowledge

Research

I love to go through data and select the relevant information and analyse it to reach some conclusion.

UI/UX design

I like to sketch out ideas and create wireframes to present them. Building prototypes is also great and is interesting to observe people using the interfaces.

Coding

While I am not a hacker, I can navigate through lines of code, especially if it is HTML or CSS.

Graphic design

I love to ideate, sketch out ideas, develop the concept and create something aesthetic out of it. I know it is not everything, but looks are important too.

Communication

I love to travel, and mainly because of new people, as getting to know them always makes me enthusiastic. Fortunately I can talk with them in different languages, but the visual language is the most accessible for many.

Management

I learned about managing design and people through education, and managing time and clients through hard work. I am not perfect in any of them, but I always try my best.

I am looking for a designer role So drop me a mail if you are interested in working together
